International Music Fraternity

Sigma Alpha Iota is an international music fraternity for women, which was founded on June 12, 1903 at the University School of Music, Ann Arbor, Michigan.. Our goal is to further the cause of music in colleges, universities, and in the community, along with providing support and encouragement to musicians. The Kansas City Alumnae Chapter meets each month (except July and August) at various locations in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Our members live in all parts of the Kansas City metropolitan area and work in many different fields with music as a vocation or avocation. For more information, contact the Website Coordinator.
