Sigma
Alpha Iota is an international music fraternity for women, which was founded on
June 12, 1903 at the University School of Music, Ann Arbor, Michigan.. Our
goal is to further the cause of music in colleges, universities, and in the
community, along with providing support and encouragement to musicians.
The Kansas City Alumnae Chapter meets each month (except July and August) at various
locations in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Our members live in all
parts of the Kansas City metropolitan area and work in many different fields
with music as a vocation or avocation. For more information, contact the
